What a great team! Not sure what happened at 6. We are usually pretty solid down low. Joffe may need to throw Mamalat in the lineup again. If we win the two this weekend against the Mississippi schools, we should end the season as SEC West Champs as well as co champs overall at the very least.

Have been following the team throughout the season. Great team this year! That coach has done wonders for the womens' program. Curious to know who Ines's sister doesn't play singles and why she was out in doubles vs BAMA? Also, seems like he's pulled Wen Sun out of singles a few times...she struggling with her game/confidence?

I just hope we can keep him for a long while. Seems like he's been moving a lot in recent years, although they have been upgrade moves for the most part.

Joffe should win SEC coach of the year, although Florida and Georgia is right in the mix as well. The fact that they are almost always up there and he has brought our program out of nowhere should get it for him. Hopefully the powers at be will give him a nice chunk of money to make him happy to keep him here for as long as possible.

Agreed. As long as we pay him the money, I don't see any reason for him to move laterally.

The only thing I'm worried about is some powerhouse like USC or North Carolina making him an offer.

Toad, if you're throwing praise because of the stock market I can see your point, but if it's for the Texas A&M Women's Tennis Team you DO need to brush up on your Geography and Math skills (counting basically). But forget Toad!
If there was a Heisman in tennis, I really believe Stancu deserves a serious look. Can you imagine playing an entire set and then some of division 1 tennis at the #3 line no less with a bum shoulder and eventually calfs and thighs cramping up on you? When I was in the Army I wish I had just a platoon of troops that had as much guts as she showed. That was beyond monumental, and without it we would have been hung out to dry. Take nothing away from Ines, she did her job no doubt, but Stancu just went WAY above and beyond the call of duty on Sunday.
