What a great win for the Aggie men. Given you are seed #12, going into the round of 16 means we'll be playing, Ohio State, the #5 seed. So from that perspective, anything more is gravy.

IMO, perhaps the only disadvantage of going to the SEC, is that we'll now have to play tu a lot in most of the non-revenue, tournament type sports. Since we aren't in the same conference and we are very close geographically, we'll most likely get thrown into the same group of 4 with them as a cost saving and "interest" measure by the NCAA bracket-people. I know our ego says that we can beat them at anything, but the fact is tu has lots of money and has put up nationally ranked teams in most sports. I think in general that's a tough pairing.

Amazing match today!! We won 2,3,5 singles. The only won that was straight sets was Withrow at 5 and he came back from 2-6 in the 2nd set breaker to win 9-7. Amazing tie break for jr to clinch.

Truly one of the epic A&M tennis matches; don't have time to review the last 15 years or so in my head right now, but this is surely one of the best; the Texas guys played their hearts out, and put us in a tough situation; still Jackson came back to win an improbable tie breaker; Harry came way back to win his second set, and Junior (thou cramping) played a spectacular tiebreaker; I told him after the match that he had trained for years for that moment, and in the end it played out for him and his school and his teammates; doesn't get much better;
