Unfortunately there are not many ski teamers on texags so I’ll do my best to briefly give respects on behalf of the ski team.
Amanda had the ability to fit into all situations no matter how big or small. She was not afraid of anything and rightfully earned the praise as a fighter during her last days. Her attitude and personality could be seen from her neon pink ski and heard from her ridiculous laugh. Very few dull moments were had around the ski team when she was there.
I’m not completely sure, but I know she was the Team Captain for at least two years and even served on the Rec Sports Club Executive Committee. She gave a huge amount of her time teaching others that through sports we can all learn and grow in our everyday lives.
As for her last ski trip to The Beav in Ahoskie - well it looks like “It wudn’t no good” as she hardly made it past Jackson. Don’t worry Amanda, everyone knows that you are still trying to get there and we’ll hold a spot in the running order for you. Start slow because you know you probably stayed up too late to run shortline off the dock.
