My team was independent this last year, but USARUGBY is begging us to come back to D1A. I wish more teams/conferences would tell them to mind their own business and let teams decide what is best for them instead of being dictated to...

I can understand the sentiment, but rugby needs a little more structure and organization in this country. I'd rather work within USARugby, as bad a taste as that often leaves in my mouth.

Sapper, I think the Varsity Cup provides everything that serious rugby clubs need and want. The regulations that USA Rugby designed last year were an afront to any former military or former missionaries who wanted to play rugby for four years in college. I hope every college team in the US leaves USA Rugby.

Clemson leaves for the Varsity Cup !!
Another team announcing on Thursday.
Who will it be ?

Current teams are Clemson, Texas, BYU, Cal, Navy, Air Force, Dartmouth, Notre Dame, UCLA, Central Washington. Utah when they come off school imposed suspension.
