plays Volleyball "for fun" but mentioned wanting to get serious about it. Asked about camps etc. Ideas? Info?

I don't know any details, but I do know that there are volleyball camps going on at A&M this month (July).

Most (all?) D-1 colleges will have camps, and many others will, as well.

Look at select/club volleyball teams. Just make sure everyone understands the commitment that often involves.

Thanks y'all!! I will be looking into this info.

On a bad note; she just injured her right knee. We're waiting on results as I type this and what the Dr says about sports in the future.

She loves A&M and will go there regardless if she plays V-ball or not! Whoop! Her words.

Hope everything turns out all right.

There are lots of stories of "late bloomers"- kids that got into sports late and then excelled.
