I wasn't surprised to see Red Bull represented in the top 3 pole positions, but I am surprised Hamilton was first while Massa/Alonso were 7th and 8th (behind both Lotus drivers).

Raikkonen cracks me up with his bluntness, so I wouldn't mind seeing him jump into the top 3 tomorrow.

Hamilton P1? I don't get the whole MB design team deal. They destroy tyres, no one else does. My prediction for Hockenhiem is Vettel, Ice & Nico. Nico is the next superstar of the sport.

I think (and hope) you're right about Nico.

He had a great race last week in the BGP and should have done better today in qualifying (he politely and indirectly blamed the team for starting 11th).

Who gets Webber's seat?
Hope it's not Ice. I want to see him continue to elevate Lotus. He has the talent and demeanor to take a once great team to the top.

Exciting final laps today! His soft tires were near the end of their life, but the Iceman probably would've squeezed out a win over Vettel if there had been two more laps. A great showing overall for the Lotus team today.

No mention yet as to who will take Mahk Webba's (my best British phonetic translation) place on the Red Bull team next year. The commentators were also hinting that Massa may not be back with Ferrari (or in Formula 1) next year. They did make a comment that Nico Hulkenberg might be considered for one of these teams.
