Lost to Lucas Pouille, another 19 year old (a month younger than Mitchell), 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Pouille is ranked 217, it looks like he's breaking into the Challenger Tour and 250 Series having killed it at the futures level. Won a match in the main draw of the French Open last year.

I don't know that many of us would wish that on our worst enemy.

Toad's on the money. Big mistake by Krueger to not play at least a couple of years of college tennis. If he dominates at the college level then go pro.

Would have been great to have Mitchell, but money talks. He heard from the usta that he could do it, and he believed them.

We couldn't have had both. Very true.

Thanks Tard Boy! He could have come to work with Denton for 4 years and lost first round quailes just like Austin and Jeff so it's all the same.

No doubt that he's struggling, but from what ive heard he's got a pretty sweet gig through endorsements and the usta. It probably pisses off some of these other young players who are putting beat downs on him and barely scraping by. The ones really making mistakes are players like Charles Boyce who could be solid college players and still do the "pro" thing later, but listen to the wrong people.
