Looks like Derian Hatcher is heading to the Red Wings.

Colorado has called a press conference for this afternoon where they will announce the signings of Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya.

WOW. Meanwhile, Mr. Hicks is selling the farm. Oh well.

Not re-signing Hatcher was easily the most brain dead move this franchise has made since it moved to Dallas. I'm pulling what's left of my hair out trying to figure out why Dallas would have gone 4 years and not 5, yet Detroit was willing to sign without negotiation.
