Set 2 25-23 Florida. The outsides struggling.
Lowack 3-3-13 .000, Patrick 5-4-22 .045, Shebeneck 1-2-5 (.199) =, combined 9-9-40 .000.

Florida has done their game research. They know we don't set the right side, so when Swatasky is on the back row we are in trouble.

set 3 Florida 25-17. passing was rough. went on a streak where we overpassed 5 times in a row.

Patrick moved to the right side (I've been asking for that all year) and hit .417 with 6 kills and only one error. Vrana and Hardesty played outside. Vrana 2-0-3 .667 and Hardesty 1-0-3 .333. Still would like to see the 3 best hitters on the outside on the floor at the same time. Patrick on right and Lowack & Vrana on the left. Patrick on the right makes Lowack better on the left. How Corbelli does not see this is beyond me.

Middles played very well. Both hitting over .350. Swatatsky struggled with her hitting as Florida was camping on her. She set a nice game, but overall Florida was just too good.

Tamu2 you bring up some very interesting points that really got me thinking. Volleyball and strategy must be your forte and I appreciate your input. Have you coached volleyball, or are you just a very knowledgeable fan/parent?

I think your insight into the Patrick/Lowak right/left scenario was "right" on. (I wonder if the A&M coaches read texags.com???)
