That is right. The horses are moving over after the Feb 1 meet. The coaches are moved in.....team meetings at the new facility. F&B Road and 2818...across from Parson's Mounted Cav.
Ferg.......we will be there! Black Dog with TAMU jersey.....I won't forget this time! Daughter rides western, so we will be at that arena while Eng flat is going on! I have been bringing a Bluetooth speaker and playing Aggie War Hymn to fire up the parents!
Rangelady, it was good meeting you and the pup today. I hope the team, and especially your daughter, did well. The kids hit their wall just short of 3 hours; same as last time.
I'll never count'em out. Our program has national championship bloodlines.
I have always been reluctant to become an enthusiastic fan of sports in which highly subjective judging determines the winners and losers. The olympics are the worst example.
I see that your daughter rides Western, yes? I checked the results on the AD web site and the Western riders did great! Congrats to her and her teammates.
Our record is deceiving. Two of those losses are to UGA (the best program of the varsity equestrian era) and had any one single head-to-head ride gone the other way in either competition those are two team wins for us. Same goes for our home competition against Auburn. That's only three rides making the difference between 1-3 and 4-0 in the SEC.
We've unfortunately dropped more than our share of ultra-close matches. We really aren't that far away from where we are used to being.
