It was the final SEC Dual Meet for both the Men and the Women in the 2013-2014 season. Unfortunately for the Aggies, only the Women came out victorious.
The men swam a very close, competitive meet. As Coach Jay Holmes stated, "there was a lot of back and forth" between the two teams. There were many positive performances, especially from Omar Enriquez, who brought home two victories in the distance events, the 1000 and 500 Free. Cory Bolleter swam the fastest split in the 200 Free Relay, leading them to a narrow victory in that event. Lastly, the Aggies finished first and second in 1m diving. In the end, the final score for the Men was 157.5-142.5 in favor of the Tigers. Next up for the Men is a dual meet January 24th against SMU.
The highly ranked women cruised to a 168-127 victory. The women grabbed the top two spots in seven different events. Next up for the Women is Senior Day, hosting North Texas on February 1st. Championship season is right around the corner!
