While I understand the coach's temperment that this was only an exhibition (and perhaps I'm ignorant to soccer having not played it in almost 30 years), but isn't a soccer exhibition a little different than a football or basketball exhibition? In the latter two, the coaches are concerned about things like execution, timing, and matchups and not so much about scoring. Soccer is a much simpler (I sade simple, not easy, and I didn't mean any disrespect -- I think it is a fantastic sport) game where most players are going all out to score. The Ags might have played younger players more than the starters, but I have to believe that if you are going all the way to Clemson for a preseason game, the word was out that they wanted to win.
Anyway, my only point is a question: aren't soccer preseason games a little more indicative of what the real thing will be like? Simply because there are only so many players and they are all basically trying to accomplish the same task. Unlike basketball where the 1 doesn't post in the paint (except for Magic) and unlike football where the offensive guard doesn't work on his pass routes too much (except for Herb Scott).
