With Football not being able to pick up the slack in the last 4 years, Whats the best team to watch on campus???

Soccer. We're starting this season w/ 2 preseason wins. A 2-1 win over #20 Clemson on the road and a 5-0 home win over UofHouston.

Aggie Soccer.

Soccer, by far. I hate soccer, but I love to watch those Aggie girls whoop tail.

Volleyball should be good, too. You should check out both teams.

Ahh, tennis... That's one of the sports I haven't been to yet. I've heard it's fun. I heard somebody say that the basketball team sometimes goes and intimidates the opposition, is there any truth to that? Or was somebody just pulling my leg?

I do need to go to tennis though, that's a good one.

Definitely volleyball!

While on campus I made it to games in several sports, but its been a while for sports (other than football) on campus. But my favorites were soccer, baseball, and tennis. Swimming & diving during the Big XII meets was fun. Diving is kind of cool to watch, and the last race in swimming is always the relay, great to watch. Believe it or not tennis can get rowdy, espcecially againt t.u. and LSU.

Soccer, followed closely by volleyball and tennis. Hopefully baseball is back on track.

Soccer by far right now--we're number 4 in the country! and tied north carolina. I think volleyball is a close second. Both are excellent alternatives to the football routine which costs too much and doesn't provide as much fun during the breaks.

I think the soccer team is the best program at TAMU next to volleyball. I attended a soccer clinic for U6 kids last Thursday, and I was very impressed with Coach G and his players. We should be proud to have a program like that on campus.

Dont forget that the only BIG XII champions last year from all sports where:

Women's Soccer and
Women's Tennis.

So, i would rank soccer, and then tennis, then baseball, then vollyball

That order seems to be about right. I just hope other Aggies are inspired to check out all of these great sports alternatives.

The Discus crew is pretty stout this year...includes a possible Olympian in Josh Ralston!

You can't go wrong with this new extreme sport. Come and check it out on November 8th at Research Park. It's going to be an all day tournament, and there are still spots open if anyone wants to play. The contact info to sign up in on the website in my signature.

1. Archery....has world champions!
2. Equestrian.....has national champs!
3. Soccer.....consistent top 10 program!
4. Men's tennis....consistent top 10 program!
5. Volleyball.....consistent top 20 program!

I recommend you check out the ITA Tennis Invitational Tournament and see the Men's and Women's team in action Friday - Sunday, and it is at home in our great stadium. Action starts tomorrow, schedule is on the Tennis web page.

I think Track needs to be in the top 5. They finished 11th last year in the nation. They are always up in the top 3 at Big 12's, winning in 2001, and in the top 20 at NCAA's.
