Interesting that Serena and Venus both went out on the same day. That hasn't happened too often. With Caroline Wozniacki and Li Na also going out early, the women's side is missing many of the big name players.

I'm sure Diego Sebastian Schwartzman picked up some fans today. It was his first Grand Slam tourney and even though he was getting demolished by Federer, his youthful exuberance still had him running hard through the last point, gaining applause from the crowd.

Nadal has an easy draw. Unless he gets into a car accident he will stroll to the finals. Murray can't bet him on clay. Joker has a tougher draw but should make it to the finals. I am looking forward to an exciting summer of tennis.

I was at the Serena match, she just never got going. The girl who beat her was tall and fast, Serena couldn't power past her with the baseline game like she usually does. Federer was in great form, but the Argentine has a great future ahead of him.

Too small. The game is unforgiving to the smaller players. You now have beasts out there running like deer that can blast forehands out of the world. You put there players today up against someone like Connors and the 100th ranked player would mop the floor with Connors.

I hope Roger Federer decides to hang up the racket before he is 1st round fodder. He is almost at that point now.

Nadal is just steaming through the French but Joker is equally driving a stake through his half of the draw. Really look forward to how this will all pan out.

These quarterfinals today will be interesting. I am looking for Joker to roll but the other one will be competitive.

Well that has fast. Tomorrow is Nadal's only real obstacle to the finals but he should win in 4. After that he will steam roll Murray. From there maybe Joker takes him out. Joker should have beat Nadal last year but could not finish him.

Navratilova is Czech; Monfils is French. Doesn't have the same connotations as it would by a Caucasian America about an African American.
