Looking at Briarcrest for bang for the buck and other amenities (like the pool)

A little surprised that there are zero clay courts in B/CS? I grew up playing on clay and hard courts in Shreveport.

Your best bet in BCS is probably going to be joining a league. Briarcrest tennis is rather dead these days. Check out brazosvalleytennis.org for info
