Ags earn their 4th shutout of the year in a 2-0 victory over WashSt. Next up is a huge weekend, especially against OSU, who is on a streak right now.

Way to go, Ags!

I could only make a half, but thought it was a good game. Great weather, and Olson's goal was sweet! Kat put another one in the net, too.

pc5aggie, what is ASH?

ASH stands for Aggie Soccer Hooligans. Shirts are in the process, hopefully we can unvail them shirts for the tech game.

The shirts are not much they are just the old fashioned paint and elbow grease. There is a group of about 5 of us so far that are going to make them. We thought about getting them done professionally but it was not feasable with the amount of people we had bc it would have ended up like $20 a shirt. but anyways yeah the shirts are just hand made. but if you are interested let me know

Have you thought about trying get support at games? I bet you could find enough people interested to make a professional run at a decent price at Screened Images or somewhere.

On a side note, I keep hoping that Nike will make T-shirts for fans (I'm a little old to attend G.'s soccer camp.) My perfect T-shirt would be:

White Nike Dri-Fit
Front: Aggies in big, thick maroon letters (like the unis of a couple of seasons agon) trimmed in black with "Texas A&M" above in black and "soccer" below in black. It would probably have a maroon or black Swoosh on the front.

Back: A large pic of the Nike Geo Merlin soccer ball that the Aggies use.

Left sleeve: Nike swoosh

Anyway, I doubt I'll see anything like that, but that's what I would like.

Surely you can get 25 guys/girls interested in those shirts. Once you have that many, you can find someone in BCS that can do screen printing (I assume at least one person you know can do the graphics) for 8 bucks a shirt at the most.

If I had a place to put it, I'd buy screenprinting equpiment just for fun -- for things like this.

This is my first year to actually attend the soccer games and i have enjoyed everyone of them. Me and some of my friends who attend just thought it would be cool to make some. I think this year we will just create our own and then next year we can get the word out and see what happens. We tossed around the idea of maybe trying to get a sponsor to maybe help us get a means to attend away games. But that was just something we tossed around.

I still want to know what was up with the Bucket Brigade, as I dubbed them...? Did anybody else see the dudes drumming on the buckets a couple games ago? Why didn't they come back?

I mean, I'll be honest, I wasn't a big fan of it, I thought it was pretty darn annoying. Then again, I'm also not a big fan of Yell Leaders at the games, I'd like to see soccer develop its own traditions, and not have to rely on the same old stuff we do at football & volleyball & (unfortunately I think) basketball too. I'm more of the mindset that these sports should be developing their own things, and soccer is really starting to do that, and it's great to see it finally happening.

I remember going to games a couple years ago when it was just empty.

I saw the bucket brigade at the Washington State game, but didn't really hear them drumming -- just saw them with buckets in hand over by the senior boot line. I didn't ever notice them until the UNC game, and then I thought they were annoying. But I'm for about anything that generates more excitement (and fans) at Aggie soccer games.

When is coach going to schedule some games in Louisiana??? Tulane has a good program..as does LSU!! We could renew the "futebol" series with A&M vs lsu!!!! Tulane has quite a few girls from the Klein area and the Ags could have a couple of games (Tulane and lsu) and stay in New Orleans!!! Come on coach G!!!

"Can I ask you a question?
What is it?
It's an interrogative form of sentence, used to test knowledge. But that's not important right now."

Good point Texasaggie04. I have just started to attend soccer games here. I truly believe that soccer needs its own atmosphere.
