Amongst the confusion of the Aggie's spirited play, the maroon and white were staked to a convincing 2-0 lead as Bhosale got the better of Jean Jean on court four. The Baylor freshman saw the wheels come off after being overruled multiple times in the back-and-forth match. As the dust settled and confusion was erased, the A&M sophomore was award the match by default with a point penalty assessed to Burgic in the first-set tiebreaker against Pierson on court one.

What happened on the singles match won by Ags ....something about Baylor default for repeated bad calls?

Baylor freshman Leolia JeanJean was penalized a point in the No. 4 singles match with Bhosale after she questioned a call, then continued to argue with the official. That point put the first set into a tiebreaker.
"She hit a good serve, but it was out and she questioned the call," Bhosale said. "The ref overruled her, and she completely lost it and started using foul language and banged her racket and lost the game. [She] yelled and went out of the court, and that is not allowed, so she lost the match. She was expecting to play, and that was not going to happen."
When JeanJean, who was on an eight-match winning streak, returned and learned she had lost the match, she again used foul language, which cost her teammate Ema Burgic a point in her tiebreaker with A&M's Rachel Pierson in the No. 1 singles match.

no video because of SEC network regulations. What a shame, and wish the updates were a bit more timely. All the more reason to see it live, I missed the last two and they have been the best two. Let's go ladies, continue your good play on the road.

Good to see the women turning things around. I'm late to the party; where is the Deheza twin? Did she quit?
