Is anybody else having trouble with the livestats? Just a second ago it was 5-2, now it's 19-18. I have no idea what happened in between. As far as I can tell, Ags are up 1-0 in games though.

I was impressed by the fact that we were leading 22-21, then we took the lead 26-19! I mean, it's not often that you can not only score, but take points away from the opposing team as well!

Game three not going well for the Ags, down 20-14 with TO Ags.

Ags lose 18-16 in game 5 after horns come back to win 3 straight games.

Golly, those were some close games. It's tough to lose game 5 that way, but you could tell the way the games were see-sawing that it was a fierce match. I wish I could have been there. Actually, I could have - I was too stupid to know they were playing in Austin tonight. Crud.

Let's put this one behind us and look toward the weekend. Don't want this game to send us downhill headfirst. Everybody go to the game Saturday night and show some support for our ladies!

Did anyone listen to the audiocast? Good grief...I was wondering if our own announcer was routing for tu. I'm a fan of the game, and I can appreciate a good play by the other team...but good grief...I had a hard time figuring out who got the point because he would get so excited/happy for both teams. AD needs to put the microphone closer to her mouth or project more. She is so funny when she starts laughing/giggling and getting into it.

It sounds like tu did their homework to contain Jones. I was hoping Price and Felder would get a few more sets toward the end. Sounds like Munsch was effective a couple of times from the backrow.

Hopefully this lights a fire under their butts.

I agree with you wanting Felder to get more sets. Her hitting percentage is WAY up there and she got less than 1/2 the sets Munsch got. Wonder if the passing rotation is better when Munsch is front row. Maybe they should switch the two around.

I drove to Austin for this one, and missed the first game. At the break after game two, I thought it was pretty much over. The Ags really seemed on, while the Horns were struggling. But for the rest of the match, the Ags just couldn't get over or around Texas' block or stop Texas attacks from the left side. They still could've had 'em in game five, but didn't finish.

I was surprised that Kari Kelly didn't play. I thought she had kinda taken over at setter. Carol Price looked strong when she came in. Holly Clay and Melissa Munsch looked good, too. Laura Jones was having an off night. I think the Ags would've beaten Texas handily at home.

This is the first time I've been to a volleyball match in Austin. I had a good time, except for the end result.
