Awesome!
That was a great win yesterday! It was senior day and LSU's last match at "The Dub". Pretty impressive that our guys didnt drop a set. Our doubles has been awesome all year and It seems like were finally firing on all cylinders in singles. The three freshman have been flat out getting it done. I look forward to tomorrows match at TCU.
A&M v TCU in Ft Worth today for all Ags in the area. Two nationally ranked teams playing for high stakes. Gig 'em.

I showed up to watch doubles and watched most of the 1st set of singles then I had to leave. Ags lost 4-0. Wasn't a good performance. They didn't seem up for the match. But it is my first time to see them play this year. Maybe saving energy for post season.
Surely against a top 10 opponent, and in state "rival", they wouldn't be saving up for postseason. They did win a big match for the sec title Thursday, so they could be worn out. And you'd think they would want revenge after getting beat by TCU earlier this year. And then again, maybe TCU has gotten that much better.
I was there today. Weather and atmosphere was awesome! Our play was terrible but I at least got some free pizza after they beat our *** in doubles. Luckily they beat our *** so quick in singles that I got home in time to do all the yard work i had planned for tomorrow.

AGS do it again! After a rain delay. Ags beat Georgia 4-2 for the SEC Tournament!!! HUGE effort with Vinsant and Efferding left standing.
shocking the lack of posts in this forum about the team this year when it has been the best year in a while.
I've been here. Been a huge tennis fan ever since I was in school when Mitchell center was nonexistent. Plus been playing for over 20 years. Excited for the NCAA's being in Texas this year. I'll be there for sure.

It would seem that a 3-4 seed would be likely. In any event, a huge step in the right direction for this team. Major props to the coaches for dealing with Jackson's season ending wrist injury and Harry having some mid year difficulty which dropped him from line one to line four....the three freshman were nothing short of spectacular this season....very hard to win the sec tournament two years in a row....job well done....
The rain delay must have helped us. GA was on a roll and our 2 guys really came out after it and would not be denied. SEC Network said that our #6 player "conceded" after breaking his racket after losing the first set, but that is untrue. He lost both sets 7-5 so he battled to the end.
Coach Denton and McKinley did a fantastic job this year. I don't know what they told our guys during the rain delay but whatever it was it sure worked.
I'd have to say Coach Denton should get the SEC coach of the year award.

I agree that Steve should be SEC coach of the year....I don't know who else would even be in the running....Manny Diaz I suppose would nearly always be considered, but for us to win the tournament probably puts Steve over the top.
