I knew it would be a challenge when I saw that 5 of UCLA's players were ranked #47 or better, including the #1 player. With that we won the doubles point, and Rachel Pierson won the first set over the #1 player in the country. That was the high point, and UCLA won the first 3 singles matches. We were in the next 3, winning first sets at the 5 and 6 lines, and after losing the first setat the 4 line Deheza was us 5-3 in the 2nd set before losing the rest of the way. Great achievement to get to the round of 16 again.

The Aggies ended the season with a # 10 ranking. Tremendous accomplishment.
I wish ALL of our programs could do as well. Fortunately, many do.
