Will be attending my first major swim event. Any attendance tips? Any Ags to look for?

The Aggies were killing it this morning. Sarah Gibson breaking 1 minute in the 100 fly, multiple big lifetime bests in the 200 IM including Galat and Henry making the A Final, more lifetime bests in the 400 free, and Hayden Duplechain getting his 400IM Olympic Trials cut by .01. Great morning, Ags!

My 11 year old son is going to be on deck volunteering on Sunday. Should be a good time.

Aggies still having a great week in San Antonio. Strong swims, including getting to finals and spots in the top 8. Took the top spot in the 800 free relay tonight.

TylerDurden95, how was your son's experience at the meet?

He had a blast! He was bumped from basket carrier (way too many kids signed up), but wandered around an soaked it all in, just the same. We say Phelps dominate in 200 IM. Funniest thing to me was to sit near parents of many of the competitors. They were as nervous as any parent at a summer neighborhood swim team event, just a bit more seasoned.

I was blown away by the athletes. This is all new to me.

Glad to hear it. Great atmosphere, for sure. Add in the Phelps dominance and some tremendous performances by the Aggies and it made for an outstanding meet.
