IMO, it has to be Kaite Jo. With her in the net, we stay close in games like USC, UNC, OSU, and KU where our offense doesn't score much.

I think our offense has been slow at times due to our youth, but Kristen Strutz and Emma Smith are great leaders and will continue to produce.

If our defense remains stout and we continue to improve on offense, we should be unstoppable in the postseason.

She's been incredible in goal and she's from my hometown school to boot! I think the other players named have been great and the consistency of Amanda Burke at midfield has been a great asset. The freshmen on the team indicate that we'll have many great seasons in store in the future!

Man you did not speak too soon. We have one of the best if not the best goalie in the nation. Before this game she had .383 goals against her. She had a bad game. Which happens. We are a young team and we will bounce back. Kati Jo is the MVP of the team I would say. She keeps us in every game. Now lets come back home and show why we are a top 5 team in the nation and not allow anymore goals this season. Here is to a run deep into winter. Proud Member of ASH

KJ is probably still the MVP of the season, but today was a complete and total breakdown of the entire defense, not just her. The number of goals we allowed today matched the number of goals we've given up all season.

The worst part is that it quite possibly cost us a Big12 Title, unless some other teams lost too. I'll go look it up.

I would still say KJ is the MVP too. And it is definitely not her fault for the loss. I just feel like a moron for starting this thread, only to lose hours later.

We can still win the big twelve if we run the table and also we can win the tournament. This is a good wake up call for nebraska (we don't need to be looking too much forward to colorado during that one) and we really will face our toughest competition of the year vs. colorado. I see this as a silver lining and agree that our goaltender is the best in the league by a long shot. (excuse the pun).

KJ has been awesome this year, especially at home where she has allowed only two goals all season. If we can fill the stands against Neb. and Col. our outlook could be very positive. I also think that as many people that can get together should make the trip to Austin to watch our girls BTHO tu cause Ive heard that they dont get much fan support fot their soccer team- It could almost be like another home game for us. I hope we fill the stands at home. A lot of students may travel to austin. Unfortunately for many of us parents of youngs kids, the game falls on halloween so we can't travel.

Good idea MA07. We really need to get as many people in Austin as we can. The season is by no means lost after just one loss. Let's take it one game at a time and BTHONU!!

I wouldn't say they have no fan support... According to big12sports.com, texas ranks second in the Big12 in soccer attendance with 1695 per game. We rank first with 2299.

Great game against CU today. Our girls dominated the 2nd half. And I'll be at the game in Austin friday.

Laura Probst really made her shots on goal count and incredible, brilliant goal tending on Kati Jo's part!
