We've lost the doubles point to Florida. Unfortunately the doubles teams are not as good as we have had in the past few years. Last couple of years if Harry and Shane lost at 1 you could probably rely on Jordan and Jeremy to win at 2. Just don't have that this year. It would probably be better to put Jackson and Arthur at 2. Hopefully we can pull it out in the singles.

Men pulled out a 4-3 victory. Vinsant won 7-6 in the third to win it.

Yes a very long match, and we just scraped through. Just a little breather now and another match starting against Nicholls state at 5.30.

Another good win.

Shane's match was very intense. We could never get any separation and the Florida player made some incredible shots to stay in it. At the end of the day it's another conference win. Florida will beat some folks.

Anybody want to reminiense on the James Martell discussions we were having a few months back.

Florida's #1 Doubles team is ranked #1 nationally, FWIW. Don't think I'd do much hand-wringing over the Ag's #1 Doubles pairing based on that loss.

You mean the one where you wrote this:

"Just looked up James Martell on tennisrecruiting and I am laughing my ass off that you actually think he will ever play for the team other than when they play the joker teams that don't even know what end of the racket to hold. Amazing the level of stupidity from some people."

Talking about remembering conversations, didn't you promise never to post again on this forum or am I confusing you with someone else ?

He conveniently forgets that conversation.

I'm Keeping my word more than any of the politicians running for president so since this is a site where everyone hides their identity behind a simple forum, I really don't care. Somebody has to be real with all of the nonsense that is stated here. Have I not been correct about Martell just like I am correct in just about every argument that I make. Since you all are so good at digging up the past, please find an example of when I was actually wrong.

I guess Nicholls State played all their matches holding the head of their rackets, which would account for the luv scoreline in every match...

"Keeping your word"

Right. Guess we all have a different definition for that phrase than you do. You said you would leave and didn't. That is not keeping your word.

Nowhere State is probably ranked 300 in the nation

Said like a true politician.

What about UTSA? Are they a joker program, too?
SlickRick

Really? Of course they are a joker program. They are 130 in the nation.

I don't understand your problem with Martell. He's a guy who obviously wants to be a part of the team and will get to play in some "JV" matches. I'm sure he and about 7 others help out in practice and enjoy being Aggies. I think that's awesome and think it's alright that they get to play from time to time regardless the outcome. Nobody on this board thought Martell was gonna come in here from tjc and be a huge contributor, so don't make yourself out to be Nostradamus. Any idiot with a device can look on tennisrecruiting.net. Please stop posting your negative/stupid/worthless crap like you promised to do some time ago!

Actually you are wrong. People were saying that he would be a starter in big matches. It was actually my good friend Bigfoot if I recall correctly. It is nothing personal with Martell, just calling people out on the ridiculous nonsense that always on this forum.

And I did say that I figured Martell would CONTRIBUTE in doubles and possibly singles. At the same time, I also didn't think Jackson would still be playing. Martell is a quality dude, and I assumed he would play some. Maybe I was wrong, the season is still young

There was quite a bit of sarcasm in that in case u couldn't figure that out. Here is my new promise...I will continue to question all of the ridiculous statements that are consistently made. Just curious little foot... You bring up Jackson taking Martell's playing time...what number do you think Martell really is in the lineup? My math puts him around 10 or 12 easily

I'm not saying that Jackson directly replaced Martell. I'm saying that Jackson being back bumps Martell down.

I'm saying around 7-8. In fact, I guarantee it.
