Aggies won 3-1 but did anybody else think that our girls looked rusty tonight?? - Also as an Aggie student, I found it sad that the second deck of the student section sat the whole game

First and fourth game I think we were on our game. Number 16 for baylor played amazingly well despite having a leg brace.

First of all, the second deck always sits. The only standing section is that at the bottom. I personally always sit in that section, because (a)it's been a long day and I don't want to stand, (b)no matter how much the team needs me, I don't think TitleIX will allow me to play, (c)this isn't football, (d)we should worry a lot more about getting people in the stadium than we should about whether they are standing or sitting. I'm sure the volleyball team was just happy that I showed up and yelled a bunch, rather than if I was standing or not.
Second, for anybody who did not see the game, #16 for Baylor (Stevie Nichols, I believe) is an absolutely amazing player. I think she ended with 24 kills on the night and she tore our team apart. She has a cannon like I've never seen, and she played with a bad leg too. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her, she played a wonderful game.

The team looked a little off tonight, but they got the win. I have to say that Christi Hahn looked strong tonight. When the rest of the team looked a little off, she was ready to play.

I also want to give credit to Beth Skypala. She always plays tough, but seems to get over-shadowed by other players. She's always solid for the Ags.

Someone told me that number 16 has a degenerative bone disease. She's managed to keep on playing...truly a remarkable story.

Stevie Nichols is awesome, and pretty hot too. You'd think Baylor had a better team with all the killers they had.

Steve was on the USAV Youth National or Junior National Team prior to Baylor....similar to Laura Jones. She had gotten hurt last year, and had only been playing back row this year to help her leg recover.

I didn't care too much for her attitude during the match, but there is no disputing that she is an awesome player. To play like she did with a hurt leg is remarkable.

Just want to say that I had the pleasure of watching the Aggie volleyball team beat Texas Tech last weekend. Congrats ladies, keep up the good work.
