(DALLAS, TX; November 5, 2003)The Dallas Stars are once again teaming up with the SPCA of Texas to present their annual calendar. Chock full of the Stars, their pooches and even some homeless SPCA cuties, the 2004 Dallas Stars Calendar is the perfect holiday gift for the sports fan or animal lover in your life!
All proceeds from calendar sales will benefit the SPCA of Texas and the Dallas Stars Foundation.
Stars players featured in this year's calendar are: Jason Arnott and his English Bulldog Rocky; Philippe Boucher and an SPCA dog; John Erskine and his Boxer Chance; Bill Guerin and his Bernese Mountain Dog Brodie; Mike Modano and his Golden Retrievers Bella and Scout; Richard Matvichuk and his Aussie Shepherd Dobber and Rottweiler Jasmine; Don Sweeney and his Yorkie Brittney; Brenden Morrow and his Bull Mastiff Mini and Boxer Cascius; Scott Young with an SPCA dog; Aaron Downey, Niko Kapanen and Manny Malhotra with SPCA pups; Steve Ott and his English Bulldog and pug; Teppo Numminen and his Bichon Frise Elmo and Marty Turco with SPCA kittens.
“We’re proud to be part of this annual tradition,” said SPCA of Texas President Warren Cox. “It takes a winning attitude, as exemplified by these Dallas Stars players, to make a difference in the lives of people and animals.”
The $17 calendar is available for purchase at all Metroplex Dr Pepper StarCenter locations, AAC Fan Shops, at the SPCA of Texas shelters in Dallas, McKinney and The Colony and at the SPCA’s Holiday Adoption Pavilion at NorthPark Center. They may also be ordered over the phone by calling (214) 387-5527 ($3 shipping will be added for phone orders).
