I am glad this is not a basketball contest either male or female, but I like the Aggies chances in this match on the tennis court. I believe the trip to play Illinois was a good taste of what the level of competition is like in the Top 10. The Aggies will also have the benefit of not having played a match the day before. So my prediction, the Aggies win the doubles point, and then win three of the singles for a 4-3 win on the road. Doubles 1 and 3 for the point and then wins by Lester, Ante, and Khalid for the other three points. I know there are many other possibilities for the victory. Will anyone be bold enough to predict a 5-2 win and defend their argument. Let the debate begin.

I will go with a 5-2 I am guessing King will be playing and that will be a battle for lester but I am guessing he pulls it out. Ante is the man but I think Walter's will get to him, if Ante stays strong mentally he can beat anyone, question is will he? Dakki will pull off another victory and then it will be a fight for the rest. One of the bottom three will add a W. We will pull off the doubles victory which will get the guys playin hard, but it will be a battle. Good Luck Guys.

I don't think it would be too bold for someone to add Dakki to the victory list that you made, so 5-2 isn't out of the question.

does anyone know duke's line-up past 1 and 2? i predict a dakki win regardless, but 4,5, and 6 will be close. i also predict we get the dubs point with at least the 1's and 3's winning. anyone think khaled will ever move to 6? maybe just for a match or 2 to see how he responds?

i say 5-2 ags with wins by lester, ante, dakki, whoever plays 5, and the doubles point.

They have Stokke who is a good player as well as a guy named Stephen who is a solid player. They are a deep team like us, I dont know where Steph and Stokke play, but it has to be top 6. I am still sticking with 5-2, A&M wants it worst than Duke has ever even thought of.

It is good to see all of the confidence everyone has for this matchup. I am still at 4-3 but I do not think 5-2 is far fetched. I hope I am wrong and those who predict 5-2 are right. I hope we make the Blue Devil green with envy.

I will be very happy to get out of Durham with a win. Our matches are always very hard fought and competitive. This will be another excellent early season test, especially indoors.

the good news for tha ags, is they have already played 5 matches and duke hasn't played any, and the first match back you never play your best...its been several months since their guys have played under pressure. i think the ags this match will be tough, with duke winning at #1 and #2. dakki will win at #3 against either stokke, zimmerman, or armitraj. the problem is at 4-5 those guys are tough indoors. if stokke plays khaled indoors that favors stokke, even though khaled killed him last yr outdoors. armitraj is also very tough indoors b/c he is a serve and volley machine and will win if he plays 5. #6 should be a toss up, i think they will have either shults or rodriguez who are both grinders. ags should win the dbls. tough close match, but ags win b/c they aer a little sharper b/c this is the opener for duke.

They will just have come off a match with #41 William and Mary. I think we have a good shot at #1 or #2 singles though. Lester sometimes plays amazing like he did against Bene of Baylor last year. Ante can play some amazing tennis if he wants to and stays strong mentally.

i didnt know they were going to play W&M. I agree that les and ante can win. especially ante, he has a better all around game than ludovic and ludo is very fragile mentally. this is match is very even on paper, that's probably why they are ranked 8 and the ags 9. if it was in aggieland the ags win, indoors its a toss up.

ags will play duke again at the nat'l indoor tourny. i can see these two teams splitting the head to head, b/c they are very even and it will be tough to beat the same team twice in 2 weeks.

I agree with that, but Ante isnt exactly the most solid mentally either. From what I understand Ludo loses it where Ante gets pissed off. Sometimes Ante can take anger out in a good for us/ bad way. Good Luck Ags
