Are we not going to get any updates on this match? Aggieathletics hasn't updated anything yet, even though the match started 20 mins ago. The Duke website doesn't have anything either. I guess I'll just have to wait until the match is over.
Still no score updates, but they did post our lineup on the update page. If they're true, then we've made a few changes. Marvin has moved into the lineup at 6 singles in place of Wooten. He has also joined with Joelson at 2 doubles with Dakki moving down to 3 doubles to play with Zach.
Lester and Ante Lost line one doubles in a tie breaker. 9-8 (4) That makes it a sweep in the doubles. Does not help the fight in singles, especially at Duke indoors.

Too much hope based on early play perhaps, but keep in mind the AGS may be playing the number 1 or 2 team right now. They are ranked 8, but this is their first match and will likley move up quickly. The AGS are sill looking for their solid lineups in doubles and singles. Too many unknown players, with little expereicne exept for Dakki, who hasn't played in awhile either.
We may be guilty of too high expectations, but sometimes you have to lose to be a great winner.
Not only are they indoor teams, looks like the Ags get Duke again next week at the National Indoors and could play Illinois in the second round. Now that's a tough schedule.
These slow updates are killing me, I am digging into the sauce stock for tomorrow's big game in anticipation. Hey we need a 12th man down on court 1,2,3,5........
Listen this is just my opinion though I do believe I am right. Plus, you guys are putting too much empahsis on the indoor thing, last time I checked the dimensions are the same on an indoor court, as they are on an outdoor court. Point is if your good your going to win regardless. Case in point Illonis they win indoors and outdoors it doesn't matter.
Aggie 11, I don't want to start a fight or anything, but there is a difference between outdoor and indoor playing. I play tennis and I prefer outdoor way more then indoor. The court size and rules are the same, but it is just different.
ags vs duke indoors definitely favors duke in the midle lineup...stokke, armitraj, and zimmy are all big hitters and like to serve and volley and finish at the net....on the other hand khaled and brent are grinders, outdoors this match is very different i'm not saying the outcome is for sure differet but the matchups are better for teh ags outdoors...next week could be different, the ags will have the revenge on their minds and les and ante probably wont lose again in dbls.
IL Ag I can understand your positon but I, point is if your a good player it doesn't matter if the match is indoor or outdoor your going to win. Case in point Ameri Delic played all of his home matches indoor last year then went to the NCAA's and rolled everyone.
Second I believe that Baylor is too deep and they should win the Big 12 again.
You can use whatever examples you want to come up with to support your opinion. Fact is, indoors is much faster, giving an edge to serve and volley. It may not have made a difference playing outdoors, but to predict the sky is falling after two early season indoor losses to top10 teams is knee-jerk.
