... and now the team is a disappointing 7-7.

Good ol' predictable coach Jo Evans has AGAIN, ruined a good softball team.

Hope Bill Byrne adds Jo Evans to the "going to be fired" list along with Melvin Watkins. Neither coach knows what to do with good, quality talent. They both have consistently failed at developing talent and team unity.

Italian Aggie- what was your point of posting the same exact three messages to three different softball posts and then bumping them to the top?

The softball team does appear to be headed in the wrong direction at this point.

Gotta agree with ItalianAggie....Evans is running what should be a good team into the ground. Under Evans this year, we'll be lucky to finish above .500 in the Big 12.

This is her SIXTH year as head coach ... will probably finished around a horrible, inexcusable .500.

Melvin Watkins had 6 years and couldn't get his program going ... now, he's FIRED.

Jo Evans can't get her program going after six years ... she NEEDS TO BE FIRED, too.

Last year the softball team missed the World Series by one game, or perhaps two games losing to the University of Arizona.

Softball has grown into an incredibly competitive sport for the players. With 64 spots available for the World Series qualifying tournament, the Aggies have a fair chance to qualify as they will certainly be playing past the Big 12 Tournament.. The opportunity to host a tournament and defend the ‘house’ is slim at this point.

Look no further than at her W-L record since she arrived ...

A once proud program that won 3 NATIONAL championships in the 80's, is now FAR behind the softball programs at ou, Nebraska and tu.

That's the "beef".

Not being able to recruit players like Cat Osterman anymore ... that's the "beef".

Also, tu just signed the best high school senior pitcher (Crowley H.S.) in the state of Texas ... that's the "beef".

Jo Evans has stagnated a softball program that was once the BEST in the state of Texas.

... that's the "beef" ... and it stinks.
