The Aggie Lacrosse team had their home opener saturday against the Bayou Bengals of LSU. From the first whistle to the last, the game was complete A&M domination. Although this only the second game of the season (opener was last weekend at University of Houton, score: Aggies 17, Cougars 5)the Aggies are looking good out of the gate, with team offense and defense starting to shape up nicely. LSU played a hard physical game but the Ags gave as good as they got with plenty of snot loosenng hits for good measure. Next weeks game will be at home here in College Station, #6 Texas A&M hosts #14 Arizona at 6:30 pm at the lacrosse feilds located across from the tennis complex and Mt. Aggie admission is free so come out and watch the Aggies beat the hell outta the Wildcats.

yes the lacrosse team is a club, fortunatley though we do get quite a bit of support from A&M and Rec Sports so that we can operate at a highly competitive level. We are a member of the United States Lacrosse Intercollegiate Association (USLIA), a group of approx 170 university club teams from all across the US playing in 9 regional conferences. The league includes many top level Div I schools like A&M. All USLIA member teams agree to abide by all NCAA lacrosse rules and regulations, giving us a varsity level experience and keeping the competion level high with conference and a national championship. As of right now, Texas A&M is considered one of the best non-varsity teams in the country.
