They don't get much coverage here (any?) but they deserve some kudos. If it hadn't been for two bad races they might have finished near top 10 instead of 16th. They continue to improve, have almost the entire team back next year, and have a potential superstar in Rebecca Sturdy. Several are qualified for the Olympic trials this summer.

Agreed, way to go ladies! This team has really burst onto the scene, and they will be a force to be reckoned with in the future! Rebecca Sturdy is just an unbelievable swimmer (and just a freshman!!!), Alida DiPlacido (also just a freshman!) is a great diver with an impressive debut, Danielle Townsend and Katie Lieb had dramatic improvements this year and are just damn FAST, Courtney Patterson continued to establish herself as one of the cornerstones of the program, Michele Bird fought back from an injury to really step up her sprinting, Erin Briskie had an AMAZING season with some truly impressive swims, Tiffany Moore had another solid season and was a great member of the 800 free relay, and Ewelina Zwierzykowsky solidified herself as an invaluable part of the 200 free relay.

And the best part is, THEY'LL ALL BE BACK! It is so exciting to think about the future of this program!
