Very sad. My MGMT 211 professor, Swim, brought cards for us to write in and sign to send to them to let them know the Aggies are thinking of them in this time.

On another note, Swim is a great guy and a professor.

The skull is pretty thick bone, and if the shot wasn't straight on, or wasn't a heavy caliber, the bullet can glance off. Also, sometimes a bullet can get caught between the skin and the bone and travel round the head before exiting.

BB, I know how it could happen, what I meant is more of an incredulous statement. More like, "what are the odds of this happening (him being shot in the head and her being the one to die from that shot and not him)?"

Sorry, man. I know some people who would ask that as a serious statement. They know little about guns, and think it's like the movies -- you shoot someone, they groan and fall over dead.

Wow Baron..you are pretty thick if you can't figure out how a bullet can deflect off the skull. Have you have never read about someone being shot in the head and the bullet traveling elsewhere?

I hope you are not having a beer while shooting..or maybe that is why it is not so "obvious" to you.
