it would probably have to be a team that isn't trying to qualify for the Champions League...so wouldn't that eliminate Man. U and whoever the 4th place team was (Liverpool?).
maybe Arsenal or Chelsea vs. Club America or Chivas...that would be sweet.
I think it would be great if Arsenal came over. Money would be the only issue with them, as they are in the middle of financing a stadium. Chelski seems to have more money however than to know what to do with, so that could be interesting.
Ok, I just checked out Arsenal's site and they are playing in Amsterdam at the end of July and early August, so that rules them out. Chelsea has nothing posted yet, but I think they could be a strong possibility. It will be a more known team with money. Everton perhaps.
Count me in if this becomes official. Most likely will be Chelski, but I guess we'll see. It'll be like being at the Alamo. I went to the Cotton Bowl for USMNT vs. Mexico and we were surrounded by a sea of green. Had a blast though. The result was not bad either.
The match to see will be Everton v Club America... if Wayne Rooney is back with Everton after Euro 2004 soon enough to play in this match, I might drive down to Houston to see it. Gravesen and Li Tie are great to watch, but Rooney would seal it for me.
I just got an offer in the mail to order tickets before the 25th. I am a season ticket holder for the Texans and I can get my seat (first deck, third row, end zone) before they go to the general public. I don't want it but if any body else does let me know. I must know before the 22nd or else they go to the general public.
Well, the form only offers one ticket. I don't know if that ticket works for both days or what but it just gives one price as if you get both days matches for only one ticket price. I'll try to confirm that. The price is $55 per one ticket.
