Will be on tape delay on Telemundo at 10:30pm.

Bruce Arena has called in all the big guns to gear up for World Cup qualifying.

Friedel's out so Johnny Walker got called in.

I live in Tennessee. Usually (and unfortunately for me) our Fox Sports station has only sports from the Southeast such as racing, SEC & ACC competition, etc. I hope they have the soccer game on.

I'll be watching intently at the Londoner (with pint in hand of course). It'll be a great sign if we thoroughly trash Honduras. Hopefully, we'll play as well as we did against Mexico. With the names BA has called up, they should play well. And god bless Fox Sports World!

This should be a good one. I lived in Honduras for a few years, during qualifying stages for the last World Cup. I didn't get a chance to see the U.S. play Honduras there, but I did go see Honduras play Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. Those were some pretty exciting games. My Honduran friends and I had some pretty heated (but always good-natured) conservations whenever the two countries played each other. A seleccion nacional game is always big news down there, and I'm sure everyone will be watching this. I'm looking forward to it.

My prediction:

U.S. 4
Honduras 0

goals by Donovan (2), Casey, and McBride

edit: Casey, not Mathis b/c Mathis is hurt---i'm getting this one in BEFORE the game

According to the Fox Sports website, the game is just a friendly, and is not part of World Cup qualifying.

Thanks for the newsflash, 1! I'd been busy enough that this friendly had completely slipped off the radar. God bless FSW!!

Your name makes me think of Ron Perlman in The City of Lost Children

RabidAg, is there usually a big crowd at The Londoner for US matches? I work about 5 minutes away from there... I'm really hoping they'll show Euro 2004 matches this summer!!

A lot of Brits watch live EPL matches there early in the AM on Fox Sports World. Everytime I've been there for a U.S. match there's been other USMNT supporters. I caught a few WC matches there in 2002. The Londoner's a good joint. I can't imagine they wouldn't have some Euro 2004. Anyway, change of venue for me tonight, apparently there's a big watching party down at Trinity Hall (Mockingbird Station at 75). Should be muy bueno!

Great prediction "1". Only switch Donovan's 2 and give them to McBride. The US made this one look easy and got Honduras rattled enough to start swinging! What a stupid foul...glad that guy got red carded. I really have enjoyed how the US has played the last two games. Arena seems to be one hell of a coach.

Wow, does Honduras have problems. Disorganized in the back and generally punchless in attack. Maybe they were dogging it, so they can rid themselves of Bora. Bora won't last long in qualifying if Honduras play like that a few more times. Anyway, the U.S. did play well and got a nice result. No complaints here. I hope the boys keep it up and roll through WC qualifying.

Excellent Win!! But remember, Honduras does not have a very good national team. There are ranked 51st and we are ranked 8th and it was a home game for us.

No matter what else we do, I want us to beat Mexico on a consistent basis. They hate us and we do not like them.
