The men's team competition will be a very very tight one! It's hard to predict a winner but it could be any of the teams between Arkansas, Florida, Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M in my opinion! In the regional I thread I broke down what they all need to win the title, but tomorrow I'll write up a preview for the championship! Arkansas and Alabama are both expecting points in the 10000, Alabama has two top 400 runners and a top 400 hurdle runner! Arkansas has an elite long jumper and high jumper and some decathletes! Florida is expecting to be led by their sprinter Wayna McCoy and some field event scoring! LSU has a crop of sprinters and will hope to score in field events and win the 4x100! We hope to be led by our 800 group and to score in the 400 and hurdles along with Victor Kibiego in the steeple! It's going to be very tight! Every single place or every single athlete matters!

We hurt ourselves in the foot by not getting Connor Schulman to advance after he fell in at regionals, or Carter Bajoit in the high jump! But we are still in it, we just have less room for error! We will need our 800 group to score at least 14, we need a big day from Victor Kibiego in the steeple, a big day from Jaqualon Scott in both hurdles! Points in the 400 and possibly someone to get through in the 400 hurdles! Hopefully Sam Hankins is healthy enough to score in the javelin! I hope we can win the 4x400, it'll most likely come down to that race

The women's side I think it will come down to Arkansas and LSU, as we all know Arkansas is led by their 4 400 qualifiers and all can possibly make the final! They have Rachel Glenn in the high jump and 400 hurdles and a few distance runners! LSU has an absurd number of qualifiers and look to score a lot in the hurdles along with sprinter Brianna Lyston and 800 star Michaela Rose! The meet should come down to these two schools, but us along with us Florida, tu, and Oregon should be dark horses!

We will have no room for error to compete with the likes of LSU and Arkansas! We did hurt ourselves where by not having reigning bronze medalist Katelyn Fairchild qualify, so we will need Lianna Davidson to medal in the javelin, Lamara Distin to win the high jump, although she did get 3rd at SEC's we should score lots of points in the Heptathlon led by Timara Chapman who's the favorite to win and Joniar Thomas should score a lot if she's healthy! Heather Abadie needs to have a great day in the pole vault and she can possibly score, as well as Abigail Martin in the discus! Hopefully Jermaisha Arnold can score in the 400 too!! It'll be hard for both relays to make the final, but if one is it'll be our 4x400! Our girls will need to have a great day! But it'll be hard to overtake LSU and Arkansas

Heat assignments are based on the regional marks! Our men's 400 got a really good draw! Auhmad Robinson should easily make the final and hopefully him along with Georgia's Morales Williams can carry Jevon O'Bryant to a fast time! In the men's 800 Sam Whitmarsh and Kimar Farquharson got placed in the same heat! There's a Clemson guy and a Villanova guy that we need to beat so they can both get in!! Caden Norris got placed in the toughest heat but hopefully he can get top 5 in that heat if the little q's come out of that heat!! So he'll need to race smart and position himself to finish with the top group!! He can do it! Jaqualon Scott should easily get through in the 100 hurdles, but the 400 hurdles will be tougher! Men's 4x400 should be good also, and Kibiego is in the easier steeple heat!!

On the women's side, it's going tk be hard to get a lot of qualifiers to the final! The women's sprints are just insane this year hopefully Jermaisha Arnold can get carried to a super fast time! I like the lane draw for the women's 4x100, it'll be tough to catch Arkansas and South Carolina but hopefully having them on the outside of us can push us to a super fast time that can get through! The women's 4x400 has a strong Tennessee and South Carolina team who has run faster than us this year, so we will need to Pr to get to the final!!

Decathlon is a big event for arkansas here, need a couple teams to help us out on the mens side and push Jack Turner and Yariel Torrado away from big points.
