Stacy Sykora is pretty hot...just though I'd throw that out. Anyway, they lost the first set (best of 5) and are just starting the 2nd set.

Yeah, unfortunately they lost the match 3 games to 1, but the announcer threw out a cool fact about Stacy.

Apparently she will do anything to pump up her team, including "stripping out of all of her clothes and throwing them all into the crowd"

I heard that, too. Maybe she should've tried it.

Anyway, the U.S. women are still OK. China is the best in the world, and they had some chances to win.

The "great " Logan Tom made at least 3 service errors at crucial times!

Stacy looked super as usual.

Logan didn't play her best match, but she wasn't the only one who didn't look sharp. I thought only Stacy and Logan's old Stanford team Ogonna Nnamani consistently looked good, but even Stacy made a couple of mistakes. I believe this team will only improve -- but they'd better do it quick.

I'm mad at NBC. Their listings show the next women's volleyball match being shown tonight. So I'm at the gym, and I see women's volleyball on. They were showing the match early, I guess. I had to run home to watch the rest. And they cut out to show an American men's beach volleyball team lose. At least I saw most of the match.

USA 3 Germany 1 all games close. Germany had beaten us a couple of months ago.
