From the posts I've read it looks like they'll be fixing up the place for the nat'l championships next year. What exactly are they gonna do? And are there any pictures showing how it'll look?

i haven't seen any official plans. i've only heard interviews. i've just heard they're wanting a press box, improved sound system, and more seating. the field was in great shape last night so i don't think they'll have to worry about that too much.

As far as the field there should not be any major changes at all....partly because that field is considered the best in the country and that is a major factor we got the bid for the Final Four....I worked out there this summer and that field is pretty much perfect....

What does this mean? Steeper stands? That would be good. More seats are needed though. The crowds get bigger every year.

Yes steeper...that probably would've been easier to say than what i said...but yes that stretch more up where there are more fans closer to the field rather than farther back like now...
