Most of the best high school athletes in Texas are gathered in College Station this weekend for an indoor meet, one of the biggest in the country. It's mostly everyone's season opener. It's a great showcase of our facilities to the best the State has to offer. Competition begins today with the 400, 800, and 200 along with several field events.

There's thousands of names to go through, but in heat 1 of the 400 we'll see two of our signees Charvis Tubbs and Joshua Shelton. As well as, hurdlers Andrew Jones and Naomi Booker the 60 Hurdles. I'll keep browsing for more of athletes.

I can't get over these times so early. Back in my day, between all the parties for Christmas and New Years plus deer season, I didn't get many work outs in. After New Years I would be shoveling chicken sh*t until I came back up to school for some much needed money. It took a while to get back in any kind of shape.

Our 400 guys stepped up and made the finals in the 60, Joshua Shelton 10th and Charvis Tubbs 12th. 6.92 and 6.95
