Good job by the guys getting started for the year. Solid play versus Trinity, and a gutty win against a very solid team from TAMU-Corpus. Jerry played one aginst Corpus and was spectacular, clinching the match in his first outing. Ante played well all day as did Simo. All in all a good start. Things go from the frying pan to the fire next Saturday when USC visits. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have a good rowdy crowd.

4-3 over aTm CC I know they are good but did we play our best lineup? Usually we beat these guys pretty handly.

We played our best line-up. They are very talented. Other than not being very good doubles players (although I am told they won doubles against TCU), they were strong across the board. Coach Cass earlier said he projected them as a top 25 team, and they did nothing last night to make me think that he is wrong in his assessment.

I really hope brett joelsen is healthy this weekend and wooten can find his grrove. We will need them against USC.

Match time is 1:30 p.m. Saturday and the weather is supposed to be better by then.

Ags better be ready to play, USC is ranked #8 in the nation and very good. Plus, they are very very pissed after getting their brains beat in, in Waco yesterday.
