I'll probably go watch some of it...it costs a little to get in this time I think, but it's worth it when you know we've got some Ags that have a chance to win Big 12 titles

Unfortunately I'll be stuck watching online....The women are in good position to "make waves" this year.

Looks like they'll be doing it without Sturdy...take a look at the psych sheet they posted on aggieathletics.com...Ouch

Do you know what happened to Sturdy? They have not released any statement about her injury(s), I suppose because of privacy restrictions. But it is clear she isn't close to 100% since she has been absent from most meets.

There will be some fine swimming. I think tu will win the men by a huge margin. Look at the psyche sheet and you will see incredible depth.

We will be much more competitive with our women's team. But losing Sturdy will hurt.

It sure hurt them in the 800 free relay tonight. They lost by .8 of a second. It was one hell of an entertaining race though. The 200 and 400 free relays should be good too.

The women swam very well and it looks like a contest....

The men on the other hand were crushed in the 800. Texas was more than 2 seconds faster per swimmer in that race.

I do not understand what A&M did on the men's 200 medley relay. The A relay was DQ'd, but the B relay was the faster one anyway. Every split on the B relay was faster. A&M obviously expected the B to be faster because it had Sullivant on it. But only the A relay can advance to the NCAAs. So they screwed up.....

They did not screw up....There is a limit to the number of scoring events a swimmer can compete in at the Big 12's. By swimming Andrew in the B team (non-scoring), they CAN STILL post a time that will quailfy them for NCAA's, and Andrew can compete in more scoring events

Oz - sorry - my mistake.... I had it wrong - the B can advance to NCAAs but can't score points....

For those keeping track, it looks like there are more Ag women in the championship finals tonight than horns. Maybe the women can make up that point deficit tonight...

We might have a couple of Big 12 champs in Townsend and Sullivant tonight...not to mention Eric Sehn...does anybody know how the women's diving went this morning?
