The Blues needed a little help to get to extra time, but pulled out a 3-2 win over Liverpool. After Gerrard's own goal to tie it at 1, Drogba and Kezman put Chelsea up in extra time. A late goal by Liverpool wasn't enough. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was sent off for supposedly taunting fans after the own-goal.
I had planned to go watch the match with some fellow Texas Blues fans, but I got sick, so I didn't go. I wish I had now.
