What a strange first 2 rounds for Jeff Maggert...shot an opening round of 69 and was in 6th...followed by an 82 on Friday. I also see a DQ by his name. Wonder what happened!

Signed an incorrect scorecard.

Still don't understand that rule. If they knew it was incorrect, why didn't they tell the player before he signed it. And if they know, why is he keeping a card?

I think when you sign the incorrect scorecard, you failed to trade scorecards at the beginning of the round. But I'm not sure

After that round, maybe he did it on purpose.

Once you have signed your scorecard, the score that you have signed for is official. But if you sign for a 5 on a hole that you really made a 6 on, then that is signing an incorrect scorecard...Maggert probably signed for a the right score for 18 holes but for one hole he might have missed something while adding it up.
