I just wanted to start a forum about the aggie women's golf team because they are so good. I mean, 2nd at the central regional which is CLEARLY the toughest of any region. Personally I feel sorry for the rest of teams that have to face the aggies at nationals, because common, they have no chance. They are pretty much going to dominate everything.

Finishing second in the Central Regional is a great accomplishment.

pooooooooor longhorns....they didn't qualify for ncaa's...they just aren't as clutch as the Aggies. And how about Nicole and Kyla's start in the 3rd round, i mean common they're pretty much ready for the pros.

No need to bring the longhorns into every damn thread. Congrats Ladies.

Thriller . . . . whoever you are . . . . THANKS alot! This is the first thread started about the girls in 4 years!!! They deserve a lot of credit and thanks for giving it to them!
(as for the longhorns, this is the first time they've missed nationals in 7 years and the first time the Aggies have beaten them in a very long time! At least 4 years!)

Ags you better start paying attention, this is

The Traditions course will be of great benefit

You have been about the only person carrying the internet banner for the women's golf team in recent years. This weekend had to be very gratifying for you. It's good to see good things happening in this program.

I hope the girls bring their A game to the championships. Not that a national championship is expected, but I think a strong showing would do a great deal for the program's perception among Aggies and with recruits.

Just look at what's happened with the softball program this year. A nationally competitive program will generate unbelievable levels of support at this university. Here's hoping that the women's golf team is headed toward that level of competition.

You can bet it was extremely gratifying . . . . for the girls to be seeded 17th and then almost win the whole darn thing was just unbelievable! All the girls were just awesome!
They're well prepared and fired up for Nationals! But when the last putt falls it will be very sad for my Aggie family . . . . but the future of Aggie Golf has never looked brighter! Tremendous players will be back next year and top recruits arrive in the fall! Great coaches and a golf course and practice facility that is second to NONE . . . . will make the girls and boys team unstoppable! They will be the best!
