what's the progress on this? When I left in May they had taken out all the bleachers and they were sitting alongside the fence facing Reed Arena. Anyone in CS been by recently or seen what it looks like?

yeah they raised the bleachers about five feet and moved them closer to the field. We now also have a press box at the top of the stands.

nice. good bull. i'm already planning on coming down for a few football games. might have to schedule it to where i can catch some soccer as well.

also a bleacher placed between the team "dugouts" (dont know the proper term for what we use for soccer... overhangs i guess) i heard it was for season ticket holders

i don't remember there being much room between the "dugouts". did they move them farther apart or something?

Isn't the soccer Final Four going to be in Aggieland this year? What is the new seating capacity?

Capacity for the Final Four will be somewhere near 9000, but mosty of those will be temporary stands. Capacity for the regular season will be around 3000, I think.

3000 is still huge for womens college soccer. I think tu was second in attendence last year almost 700 behind us. We start filling up a 3000 seat stadium people will take notice.

really i thought it was 1791 or what ever. With tu coming it at just over 1000. Whatever the numbers nobody else was close last I saw.

So does anyone else think overall attendance will probably go up this year? Just by virtue of people knowing that they will actually have a seat and not have to stand (even though we stand anyway), I would think it would bring a few more people out that might not have come before.

yes it will...I've not gone before because I knew it was too late to get a decent spot. Now, all the seats will be better since its raised.

i kinda liked it being right on the ground cause ur basically in the game sitting there... but still its gonna be crazy this year... pistorius and co. are just going to go rape-city on all the competition.

of course if you got too close the grass nazis got on to you.

I got yelled at for being on the grass to make room for someone in a wheelchair. That lady needs to find a new job. Cant take 2 steps in the grass to make room for someone in a wheelchcair? What am I supposed to do walk over them?

And yes I think attendence will be up. All I know is we better have 9000 seats for the tu game or there will be some pissed off people.
