I just looked over both rosters for the All-Star game and was surprised to see only three born in Texas. Obviously there are exceptions, most notably Roger Clements(born in Dayton, Ohio).
The state has well developed youth and college programs. Does anyone have an idea the rough number of Texas players in MLB.

I am not for sure, i used to know. But California was by are far away in first place with the most represented in the bigs.
