Good exhibition. We scored some nice goals, but their keeper wasn't very good. Our timing looked off, but it'll get better as the season goes. Some of the crosses could've been better. Defense held up well. Overall I'd give it a B.

we didnt make it to the game, spent too much time moving in and gettin supper...

Yeah, sorry it was southern miss. It was 4-0 with five minutes left. (Girlfriend couldnt stand anymore) First goal was on a pk, second on a set piece, third on a beautiful cross that went into the side of the net, fourth on a nice header off of the top post.

Very impressive numbers all around!

I thought that our goals were awesome. PKs are always cool but rarely spectacular. Laura Probst's goal was a really good bending shot that looked like it was going over then just dropped (a better keeper would have probably stopped it). Melissa Garey's goal was really awesome. It was a cross that somehow just ended up in the goal. Best one of the night was the last one. We had been pressing really hard for a while but hadn't found the net in the second half. Real nice cross and a lightning fast header off the top post. Overall we played well, but it still looked like the first game of the season. Just have to work some stuff out.


THIS IS THE YEAR THAT WE HAVE TWO GOOD FOOTBALL TEAMS ON CAMPUS!

I saw the first half, and the team looked good. You can sub the whole dang starting 10 out in the field and not see a drop in talent.

On a side note, it was cool to see some fellow Blues at the game. A man and his son were both wearing their Chelsea shirts. I shoulda said hi ...

Another thing I noticed was that all the girls looked more trimmed down than last year, even the ones that were already trim in my book.

They must be really going into the training/svelt angle. Very quick, and fast overall team speed. I only hope when contact occurs our gals can take it well.

They looked good though.

didnt get to go cause we were fishing in the gulf saturday and sunday... which basically kills me cause thats the first home soccer game ive missed in 2 full seasons plus this game that ive been at A&M...

not sure if we can expect this to be the starting lineup for the year obviously... i expect to see jordan and carrie definitely starting, carrie was last year and jordan looked incredible last year at defender also.

I dont think we're going to have a set starting line-up. When we had the subs in the game didnt change at all. We had some trouble finishing in the second half, but thats to be expected in the first game. USM played a good game, but when our third string can start for you, its going to be a long day. And the girls seemed to be able to take some contact. Only casualty I remember was a USM girl that appeared to seperate her shoulder. Looked like she was trying to sell a trip and landed wrong. Other then that some good contact and good play with no glaring injuries to speak of.

cant wait till friday AT ALL!!! OMG seriously ive been waiting a year to get back to the aggie soccer complex and scream my fool head off
