Pretty amazing comeback tonight

An instant classic. I thought he was dead and buried after the second set. Just goes to show good things can happen if you keep your head up and keep playing hard.

Amazing match. I think nerves got the best of James Blake when he serving for the match at 5-4. I thought he would fold after he lost that game. But, I was glad he won his next service game to force the tie break. I wasn't quite sure who to root for - would have felt sorry for whoever lost. It really was a great match.

Blake looked incredible the first two sets, but Agassi found a way to dig a little deeper and pull it out...

Unfortunately, Federer is gonna wax whoever he plays. Tennis really needs someone to challenge Federer to make me interested again ala the Sampras/Agassi battles that occurred back in the day.

Nadal and Roddick are the closet competition he's got right now. And unless they're on the clay Nadal isnt a real threat.

I think it was after last year's Wimbledon final that Andy said something to the effect of "I need to start winning a few of these matches for this to be considered a rivalry." Not an exact quote but that was the gist of it.

Roger has been pretty much unstoppable. I rarely even bother to watch his matches.

I think it's pretty incredible he's played in 20 consecutive US Opens. The fact that he is still competing 9and not just showing up like Nicklaus at Augusta) at the age of 35 is pretty impressive.

And he did it again today

And just got a set, 6-2 from Federer. I like Roger, but I would love to see Andre win today, and retire like Pete did.

Did anyone get the feeling that Andre's going to call it quits? When he thanked the New York crowd for the last 20 twenty years, it sounded like a farewell.

i hope he doesn't, but i got that feeling. I want to see him win another grand slam then quit. I so wanted for him to beat roger, but i knew it wasn't going to happen. Would of been great to finish on US soil.

And to the Roddick quote: that was very close, i know he said something about it not quite being a rivarly.
