wow ive never heard a group of people so clueless as to what theyre talking about EVER... i mean give them credit for even getting MOST of the names right (excluding calling NU's goalkeeper kati jo spisak, and the whole Lauren Probst thing...) and also they didnt hardly have a complimentary thing to say about us unless it was a blurb followed up by something along the lines of "BUT nebraska is the bestest team in the whole wide world!"

Well, we are talking about FSN. At 4:30pm on a Friday. At a women's soccer game.

I thought that the announcers were pretty good. They brought a lot of good points to light and had good soccer knowledge. Just because the didn't pump sunshine down our throats about the Aggies doesn't mean that they did a bad job.

yea they seemed Neb-biased from the start... and I don't see how that one chick got the player of the year award over Ashlee. Oh well. We had a great game, but the announcers left much to be desired. They didn't realize that Laura Probst is a big part of our offense? Just look at the assists stats, sheesh.

Actually they had no soccer knowledge...which is why they work for fox sports.

Does anyone know if they are replaying the game or if the same announcers will be doing the final? I was able to catch the last few minutes of the game last night and recognized one of the announcers as one of my old club team coaches. It's always funny to hear him do games or studio shows nowadays, and I need to hear his bad analysis for myself.

Glenn Davis, the color guy on the broadcast, is the soccer beat writer for the Houston Chronicle and does a great job of covering local/national and international in the limited space he's given.

What a thing to complain about.

Good..I thought I was the only one that thought these announcers were Nebraska biased. I did not realize NU was the Canadian national team in disguise. What, they had 2-3 Canadian players that have CAPS? That makes me really proud that we beat them twice this year.

As for Glenn Davis, I would definately not call him clueless when it comes to soccer, he had some good points (not to mention his history in US soccer). Whoever the other announcer was seemed to be the NU cheerleader.

Enough of that though..GREAT game by the Ags. Garey's goal was awesome (and Kat's goal and her scrappy assist were great too)..I loved how Garey even took time to brush her hair out of her eyes and unloaded that wicked shot right in the corner. She is too much!

tbh, they talked a LOT about how strong our team was. I didn't get the feeling they were biased. Several of you guys did, but I really thought they did a good job keeping it fair. Glad we won the game. BTHOColorado!

Exactly. They spoke highly of A&M often. And they called us "Texas Aggies". And it was a freakin' college women's soccer match on TV. I'd say that's pretty good.

nah they sucked. and yes they were swinging from NU's nuts... especially in the beginning when they said, and i quote "well nebraska has shown already that the 4-0 loss in college station earlier this year was a fluke, and NOTHING more..." BS

and they were swinging from their goalies nuts too (jamie kleigis? sp?) dude shes given up 8 goals to us this year, and 4 to kat... we own them AND that goalie
