Looks like the Ags kicked off their invite with a bang by swimming the nation's fastest time in the 200 freestyle relay -- the sprint relay in the water...Even better: three of the four young ladies on that relay are freshmen

One of the freshmen smoked the A&M school record in the 50 twice in one night too...was one heck of a meet...can't wait to see how they do the next two days...

The A&M women swam very well this weekend. Consider too that Erin Briskie, the best breastroker, apparently was ill because she swam very poorly. With Briskie at 100% the medley relays would have been even better. She would have scored points in all the breastroke races and perhaps the IM.

The freshmen - Hansen, Aljand, Wilkinson, Heiss were superb. What's telling is how many NCAA consideration times were set. And beating SMU, who beat tu two weeks ago, is impressive.

Marshall was pretty darn good too -- 55 low 100 fly; 50.5 100 free; 23.2 50 free
