This says it all...

This team should be beyond winning the conference title and be focused on advancing further in the tournament. We have the talent but have been beaten handily in the tournament three times in a row now. We just aren't on the upper tier yet. Hopefully next year's more difficult non-conference schedule will prepare us for the tourney.

Good season ladies and continue to work hard this offseason! Don't give up!

Actually it's only 2 in a row. Ags did not win regular season or tournament championship in 2003.

You mean he's projecting that the Ags will win next year for three in a row? So what! We dominate the Big 12 and then get spanked in the post-season? I'm happy we can win conference, but this team has got some work to do to gain respect outside of the Big 12. Sounded like our offense sputtered badly after a quick start, midfield never got started (except for Becky Olsen and Laura Probst winning the ball), and defense got scorched (except KJ played pretty good in goal according to Aggie broadcasters). I'm excited about next year's schedule. Even if we don't win those early non-conference games, the team will be better overall for having played against some of the best competition. That should help the girls know what to expect going into the post-season playoffs.

as a program we are WAY younger than most of the other power house programs in the nation... give it time, G is finally getting significant amounts of all americans into his program. we'll get there and im VERY pleased dominating our conference and solidifying ourselves as THE soccer school in the big12.

the ncaa tourny will come when we have an entire roster full of high school all american caliber players, remember that in 03 kat was the only high school all american... then in 04 is when they came in in droves... then he got a few more last years recruiting class, and we'll see how many he can get this years recruiting class... as they get to be upperclassmen and all of our high school all americans arent freshmen and sophomores, we'll be on the level of the teams we're losing to in the tourny

The thing I like is how young our strikers still are. Kat is a junior, Ashlee a soph and Melissa a fish.

this program was playing at A&M CONSILDATED 10 years ago!!!! thats how young we are as a program! look what G has done with this place!

im also convinced that attendance spiked as a direct result to getting kat and linda cause theyre so hot. i think that was the year we jumped to tops in the nation for attendance. when you have chicks like that, tons of guys come to games!

I'm pretty sure attedance spiked because of the 12th Man Rewards Program. Whoever came up with that thing needs a pay raise and possibly a small monument.

But good looking girls are nice too.

Our girls are great! Our schedule has not been strong - more like our baseball schedule (maybe not that weak).

The schedule for the next two years will give us stronger competition.

In the Big 12, TT needs to get their program started. It's in a big, big hole. However, the Big 12 has a long way to go to reach the level of the ACC or the Pac-10.

The announcers made a comment about that during the game. The Big XII is not a respected conference in the soccer world. Beating up the likes of ttu and baylor isnt that impressive. NU and tu are climbing, but the rest of the conference needs to step up in a big way if we are wanting a top 8 seed.
