weak conference, and we always drop a few games to not-good-teams (ex: ISU, MSU)... we do it to ourselves, and it doesnt help that we are in a weak conference for womens college soccer

Big12 is just a weak soccer conference compared to a lot of others...kinds sucks but what can you do..

I think the seedings were very accurate.

This year, the top two conferences were the ACC & the Pac-10.

The next two best conferences were the Big 12 and the West Coast (Portland, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, Pepperdine, and others)

The next two best conferences would be the Big Ten and the Big West.

The Big 12 is NOT a weak soccer conference. Only Baylor and Texas Tech had losing records. Only Baylor and Texas Tech could be considered weak teams.

Although we had only one top 20 team and only one Sweet 16 team (our mighty Aggies), the Big 12 had several strong teams. Nine Big 12 teams were in the Top 60.

I think we were seeded ok. I don't think a Big 12 team has ever advanced past the elite eight.
All the traditional power teams are on the east and west coasts. The Aggies and Huskers have been good, just not good enough...yet!
I think we will make the final 4 in the next two years.

#2 should not be playing #9 in the sweet sixteen round.

Sorry guys, but in the eyes of the soccer world, A&M and possibly NU and tu are the only threats in the Big 12. The rest of the conference is just a SOS booster, no threat of an upset. And look back, what has the Big 12 done when it matters the most? Untill the OU's and CU's step up 1 great, 2 good, 2 bad, and 7 mediocre teams isnt gonna get any love.

Judging by the results, the top 8 seeding were perfect - all advanced to the final 8.

The Big 12 is not a weak soccer conference. We lack the cream but have a stong middle.

Three of the top four seeds advanced to Aggieland – Portland, Penn State & UCLA.

North Carolina, who lost to Florida State, was the only #1 seed not to make the trip.
